Entrepreneurs know that financing is key to starting and growing a business, but the array of options can be difficult to navigate. This course teaches you how to apply financiers' method of evaluation-the 5C's of Business Credit-and explores the advantages and disadvantages of debt-based, equity-based, and crowdfunding financing.

The session will cover:

• The meaning and applications of the 5C's of small business lending
• Assessing your own 5C's, identifying strengths and weaknesses
• How each funding source is structured, and what might be the best fit for your business

This discussion will include key U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) loan programs After the presentation, there will be time for Q&A with Pace University Small Business Development Center (SBDC) business advisors to learn about free 1:1 assistance our center offers to help entrepreneurs with financing for their small business.
