Are you considering renting a commercial space but don’t know where to start?

The Pace University Small Business Development Center (SBDC) has partnered with the City Bar Justice Center’s Neighborhood Entrepreneur Law Project (NELP) and the Downtown Alliance to host a Commercial Lease Negotiation workshop, which will provide key insights on topics ranging from what to look for in a written lease, selecting an appropriate lease term, research to do before deciding on a space, and issues that may arise once you’ve signed the lease.

After the presentation, there will be time for Q&A to address any follow up questions or concerns you may have. Attendees will also learn about free and low-cost 1:1 legal assistance available through the City Bar Justice Center.
