Legal Considerations for Starting a Small Business

The Business Insight Center of the Central Library of Rochester & Monroe County and the College at Brockport Small Business Development Center (SBDC) are sponsoring a free program on Wednesday morning, April 1, 2020, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. in the Kate Gleason Auditorium of the Bausch & Lomb Public Library Building located at 115 South Avenue, Rochester.
Jon Lazenby, Attorney, will present “Legal Considerations for Starting a Small Business.” Those attending will learn about key basic legal issues that need to be addressed when starting a small business. Topics discussed will include choice of business entity, intellectual property, contracts, and more. The program is appropriate for both first-time entrepreneurs and those who have recently started a small business. Mr. Lazenby’s legal practice specializes in counseling small businesses.
