•Sureties help contractors bid on government jobs - without a surety, a contractor cannot bid on city, State or federal work

•Sureties can increase a contractors' credit worthiness - by successfully receiving bonds, the contractor improves his/her credit worthiness

•Increase contract capacity - by leveraging surety bonds to complete public/private sector jobs, contractors can move on to bid on bigger and bigger jobs

•Securing sureties helps create new banking and credit relationships that contractors can use to grow their companies

•Sureties help contractors grow their portfolios which helps them build capacity
