The New York Small Business Development Center (NYSBDC) was proud to support Empire State Development’s (ESD) Global NY initiative and the 2025 Export Promotion Tour with our staff attending and supporting various events across the state.
From September 3–11, Global NY’s international representatives traveled to all ten regions of New York State, meeting directly with entrepreneurs and business owners to share insights on doing business abroad. With representatives in Africa, Australia, Canada, the Caribbean, China, Europe, India, Israel, Japan, Mexico, the Middle East, Singapore, South America, South Korea, and Taiwan, Global NY provides unmatched perspective on international opportunities.

Global NY is ESD’s international division and serves as a one-stop resource for New York companies seeking to export. With programs offering export funding, assistance, and foreign market expertise, Global NY helps businesses enter or expand their presence in the global marketplace. At each stop on the tour, companies heard an overview of Global NY’s programs, presentations on international markets, and had the chance to ask questions directly to global experts. Pre-registered businesses were also able to schedule one-on-one consultations with foreign representatives to discuss their specific global expansion strategies.
