Albany, NY – The New York Small Business Development Center (NYSBDC) is pleased to announce the recent appointments of Kari Coleman as Senior Financial Analyst and Alexis Bhagat as Information Specialist, strengthening the central office team’s capacity to support the 20 Small Business Development Centers across New York State.
Kari Coleman, joining from The State University of New York’s University Controller’s Office, brings over fifteen years of experience in business and process analysis, enhancing the financial reporting and asset management capabilities of the NYSBDC. Her extensive expertise in guiding statewide financial procedures will be pivotal in the organization’s operations and strategic planning.
Alexis “Lex” Bhagat has joined the NYSBDC as an Information Specialist, adding a unique blend of creative arts and digital advocacy to our Research Network. As a former client of the NYSBDC and a recent University at Albany graduate, Lex’s expertise and perspective are expected to enhance our services with innovative solutions and data-driven insights.
