The New York SBDCs’ MWBE Program provides specialized support to minority and women business owners, helping them access valuable resources and submit certification applications to grow their businesses. We regularly partner with ESD’s MWBE program to ensure our clients voices are heard and applications are processed. We offer a range of services, including:
- Assistance with MWBE certification and recertification processes
- Access to our bid-matching service for government contracts
- Guidance on navigating the New York State Contract System
- Training on leveraging certifications for business growth
- No-cost, one-on-one business advisory services

The MWBE Certification
Process can be Complex
Let us simplify it for you. As of 2023, New York State has 9,749 certified MWBEs and aims to meet an annual target where at least 30% of all state contracts are awarded to MWBE firms.
