Her advisor, Joe Peterson, helped modernize digital platforms and marketing strategies to boost catering sales. Their continued collaboration led to securing 2023 Summer Youth Employment Program funding – creating 10 new jobs while expanding the restaurant’s community impact.
Kitchen at Cobble Hill
Kitchen at Cobble Hill is a restaurant, event space, and catering company located on Court Street in Brooklyn, NY. Owner and Lubin School of Business graduate Olga Potap has operated the eatery since 2010 and started working with the Pace University Small Business Development Center in 2019.
Initially, Olga worked with Pace SBDC Business Advisor Susan Gluck to increase the restaurant’s catering orders and open more catering accounts. As the catering business grew, Pace SBDC Business Advisor Joe Peterson helped Olga and her team improve and update their website, delivery apps, and other marketing materials to reflect changes in the business and support the restaurant’s marketing goals.
As the years went by, the Pace SBDC team continued to support Kitchen at Cobble Hill with one-on-one assistance. In 2023, Joe helped Olga apply for the Summer Youth Employment Program which unlocked funding for the business and helped create ten new jobs at the restaurant.
