The 2015 Veterans’ Day Breakfast, held annually in NYC and hosted by mayor Bill De Blasio, brought together over three hundred Veterans, military family members, active duty service soldiers, sailors and airmen. Each year the US Military Academy is represented at the event. This year Brigadier General J.T. Thomson, the Commandant of Cadets was in attendance. General Thomson, who is a class of 1986 USMA graduate, met with the Director of the Brooklyn SBDC, Rob Piechota, who is a 1979 graduate of the US Military Academy. The unifying purpose of this event is supporting the honor of Veterans across New York City.
